How it works

AUGUST - The Selection Process

​

The horses go through a stringent assessment process which takes place in August. All the horses are evaluated both from the ground and under saddle by the selectors and riders. All horses selected then undergo a complete vetting including x rays.

SEPTEMBER/OCTOBER - Viewing the horses

​

The horses are available for trial rides from the beginning of September all the way through to the Auction date. During this time the horses that fit your criteria are shown to you by the Equine Elite riders before you can sit and feel for yourself if the horses are right for you. WED 26TH OCTOBER - Presentation Night

​

18:00 Bars open.
19:30 Presentation of the auction horses under saddle.

Followed by an after party and an opportunity to speak with Vets Riders and Organisors

THURS 27TH OCTOBER - Free Day

​

10:00-16:00 Stables are open for you to view the horses in the stables, see them ridden and try them if you wish. There is also the opportunity to visit local tack shop Emmers and visit local tourist spots too.

FRI 28TH OCTOBER - Free Day

​

11:00-16:00 Stables are open for viewing and trials. The vets are also available for you to discuss the horses with them, should you have any questions.

SAT 29TH OCTOBER - Presentation & Auction

​

12:00 Presentation of the auction horses

14:00 Stables open for viewing

14:30 Buffet and bars open (after we go back to the hotel to change)

18:00 The Equine Elite Auction begins

Following the auction is the after party which includes live singers and bands, trade stands to view and more food and drink !

​

SUN 30TH OCTOBER: Coffee & visit your new horse

​

10:00 - 15:00 Come and visit your new horse, arrange transportation and insurance and talk to the riders and organisers if you wish.
